End-of-year letter
In 2025, the Mikaela Naylon Give Kids a Chance Act passed in the House of Representatives, 435-0, but was blocked in the Senate by Senator Sanders. Senator Sanders wanted the Senate to pass his other priorities at the same time.
In 2026, we plan to:
Tell Congress to pass the Mikaela Naylon Give Kids a Chance Act.
Support its implementation.
Continue to bring hundreds of incredible kids, their siblings to Capitol Hill.
In 2009, Jacob died and we founded Kids v Cancer. Through our efforts:
Over $9 billion in incentives for pediatric drug development have been created by PRVs.
Drug companies are now required to study their new adult cancer drugs in children’s cancers as a result of the Race for Children Act.
Once again we are at the goal line. Let’s get to work.
